A big thank you to all the families and friends who came to cheer on the participants—it was wonderful to see such strong community support and involvement. We’d also like to extend our sincere thanks to the staff for their hard work in planning and running the event so smoothly.

It was a day to remember!

Our talented choir gave a wonderful performance that truly captured the spirit of the day, and everyone enjoyed a spread of delicious food. It was heartwarming to see children and staff coming together to mark this special occasion.

The students enjoyed an afternoon enjoying the facilities at Cape Cornwall whilst achieving great results and scoring goals. Our teams loved being part of a team, and after 6 months of attending weekly football training sessions, they were finally able to have an end goal at the end of term. 

Thank you to everyone who attended, carried flags, cheered and supported us from the street! A special thank you must go out to Adam and everyone who helped to make our fabulous diamond structure - I think we can all agree it shone the brightest on the day! 

Called Chat Health, it aims to provide a quick and easy way to access health advice and support about anything from potty training and breastfeeding to accessing drugs and alcohol support.

This new service enhances our existing health visiting and school nursing advice line.

There are three dedicated numbers:

• Young people aged 11-19 can call 07312 263 096
• Parents or carers of children aged 0-5 can call 07312 263 423
• Parents or carers of children and young people aged 5-19 can call 07312 263 499

When a text message is sent, an automated reply confirms it has been received. A trained healthcare professional within the health visiting or school nursing teams will then reply within 48 hours.

What a fabulous effort by everyone and it was a joy seeing the pupils get off the buses in their costumes.

There were presentations by Penwith and Cornwall College in the hall, and we had a fantastic turn-out from parents and the school community. As always, thank you for supporting us! 

After being invited to send a recording of our singing we have been informed that our choir will be featured on CHBN Radio's Christmas eve special! 

The radio is on FM in the Truro area but if you would like to listen in other areas you can do through the CHBN Radio App (Details on the poster below!). 

We were lucky enough to get a visit from Santa Claus himself in school this week! It was so exciting to welcome him to our school and the children received some lovely presents to enjoy.

What a fantastic school event which was enjoyed and attended by so many family and friends within our school community. 

The children did so well in participating and it put us well and truly into the festive mood!

Our children enjoyed it immensely and took part in the concert through dance, singing along and some even had a turn on the string instruments. 

We can't wait to welcome them to our school again!

The classes have been planning through market research, developing their stall idea, making digital adverts (on display in reception) and running their tuck shops to see who can make the most profit! A very exciting day with lots of healthy competition and delicious treats! 

Suffice to say we were all too full for lunch! Well done everyone!
