Administrator/HR Assistant
32.5 hours per week (8.00-15.00 Monday to Friday). 39 weeks per year (term time plus INSET days) plus holiday entitlement. Total paid weeks of 45.248.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, personable, and organised individual to join the Administrative Team. The successful candidate for this role will need to be a pro-active and a motivated problem solver with strong analytical skills. You should be comfortable communicating at all levels and have knowledge of IT systems and data analysis. Experience of Arbor would be an advantage, but training will be given if necessary.
This role will be based within the main school office alongside the school administration team. Duties will include general clerical administration, use of MS Office, updating the school database (Arbor) and reporting, supporting the Office Manager with HR, Safeguarding and Financial administration, providing Reception cover as well as additional administrative tasks commensurate with the post. You will be a good communicator, smart in appearance, professional and discrete regarding confidential matters.
Skills and Experience
- Good standard of experience working within a school or similar skills and experience working in an office environment.
- Experience of SIMS/Arbor/Databases.
- A practical working knowledge of IT applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Minute-taking skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
