Dear Parents, Carers and Families,
What a truly inspiring and action-packed couple of weeks it has been at school!
Last week, a group of our dedicated students completed their Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award Expedition, trekking for three days through beautiful countryside and camping under the stars for two nights at a truly stunning campsite. Their resilience, teamwork and enthusiasm were nothing short of amazing – we are incredibly proud of them!
We were also thrilled to welcome drama students from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, who spent the entire week working with our children across the school. Their visit culminated in a spectacular fashion show for Elm Class, showcasing the children’s creativity and confidence. A huge thank you to everyone involved – it was an unforgettable experience!
Meanwhile, Oaks and Aspen Classes were treated to a magical visit from master storyteller John Brolley of The Minack Theatre. His spellbinding Cornish Tales had the children hanging on every word and brought local folklore vividly to life.
All our enrichment activities are planned and delivered by our amazing staff teams, who often volunteer their own time to make events happen. We are very grateful to them.
Finally, a reminder that this Saturday, 28th June, we are inviting all families to join us for the Mazey Parade. Come and walk with us and our incredible Octopus creation – a celebration of community spirit, creativity and joy. We can’t wait to see you there!
Best wishes,
Pippa
