Dear Parents, Carers and Families,

Welcome Back!

What a wonderful start to the school year! The children have returned with such enthusiasm, full of smiles, and so excited to be back with their friends. The school feels alive with energy and laughter again.

A huge welcome to all our new starters—you’ve settled in so brilliantly, it feels as though you’ve always been part of our school. We’re also delighted to welcome our new staff, including the teachers in Juniper and Oak Class, new teaching assistants, and new office staff, who have already brought so much positivity and warmth to the school.

This week we’ve continued to focus on re-establishing relationships and routines, helping everyone feel comfortable, confident, and ready to learn. A big thank you to our parents and carers for all your support while the children settle in.

Here’s to a happy and successful year together!

Have a great weekend,

Pippa

Cherries Class:

We have had a wonderful first week back in Cherries class! Lots of fun exploring the new resources, particularly the new PE equipment in the hall. We also found time to bake some cupcakes!

Olives Class:

Olives class have had a fantastic time already this term! We have been making cards, enjoying the sensory studio, and having a blast with Zumba. Since we love music in Olives, we've also been teaming up with Maple class for musical sensory stories and listening to the clarinet and recorder. The children have all settled in beautifully to our school routine and we are excited about the next steps in our journey together!

Aspen Class:

It’s been a really positive start to the year, with pupils having settled in well. We spent the first week getting to know everyone and are now settling in to the term’s work. This week we’ve already had swimming, football training and Zumba, choir,  started work on our Duke of Edinburgh Award, finished off some digital portraits, made some decisions about our Enterprise project for the term and completed maths and English assessments-  phew!!  It’s going to be a busy term.
