Dear Parents and Carers,

As the academic year is in full swing, we want to remind you of the importance of regular school attendance. Consistent attendance is a critical factor in your child's education.

We understand that there may be circumstances where your child cannot attend school due to illness or a family emergency. In these cases, please notify the school as soon as possible. If you know your child is going to need to be absent during school time please speak to one of the office team to get an absence request form and return it, so we can look at your request. Please note this is only for exceptional circumstances.

Thank you for your support with this. Have a great bank holiday weekend!

Daisy and Charlina from Maple Class have been taking part in their ASDAN qualification work, by going shopping for their own snack. They were able to use shopping lists to find the items they needed, make choices between objects and use money to pay for the snack they chose. What a fantastic preparing for adulthood experience!

We have an upcoming coffee morning with our occupational therapist Lou Thrower.

The first of these mornings will be on the 16th May from 10am -12pm. If you are wanting to attend could  you please email: lthrower@specialpartnership.org to confirm your place.

Thank you!

Palm Class have been out and about quite a bit recently.  Just before the end of the Easter term, we took part in a bowling competition at Truro Bowl.  We had 2 teams and came 2nd and 3rd - well done Palm!  We also went to Newquay Aquarium where we saw lots of fab fish and an amazing turtle.  As a reward for our hard work in tuck shop, we went to McDonalds for lunch, which everyone loved!   On our first week back we went to Penlee Park - it was the most beautiful day and we had loads of fun on their new adventure play equipment.  We wrote poems about our experiences - do pop in and see them on the wall if you are passing by...
