ISSUE 018

Dear Parents and Carers,

As another school year draws to a close, I am writing to bid farewell and express our heartfelt gratitude to you all for making this year a truly remarkable one.

First and foremost, we would like to extend our deepest appreciation to our incredible teaching staff. Your hard work and perseverance have made a profound impact on the lives of our students, and for that, we are eternally grateful.

Within this newsletter there are messages from members of staff who are moving on. We'd like to wish all the very best to Jake, Roxy and Rebecca who have all made a fantastic contribution to Nancealverne school life.

To our wonderful students, you have shown resilience, adaptability, and a thirst for knowledge throughout the year. We are immensely proud of you for your accomplishments, both big and small.

Whilst we are saying goodbye to another year at Nancealverne school we are also having to say goodbye to some of our wonderful students as they move on to their next steps. Leland, Grace, Rachel, Tom, Cameron, Kieran, Max and Immi we will miss you all, but we wish you all the luck in the world!

We would also like to acknowledge the invaluable support we have received from our parents and guardians. Your involvement and encouragement have played a pivotal role in fostering a thriving school community.

As we bid farewell for the summer, we are filled with anticipation for the opportunities that lie ahead. It is our hope that the break provides everyone with a chance to recharge, relax, and spend quality time with loved ones.

If you need to contact anyone during the Summer holidays Lauren will be in every Friday from the 4th (lladd@nancealverne.org.uk). There will be additional staff in throughout the holiday - please email Lauren for a message to be passed on if needed. If you have immediate concerns about a child please call the MARU on 0300 1231 116.

Finally, we would like to express our gratitude to the entire Nancealverne community. Your collective efforts have made this school year an extraordinary one.

We eagerly look forward to welcoming you back in September along with some new faces - both students and staff! Until then, have a safe, enjoyable, and unforgettable summer break!

Best wishes,

Ruth Carpenter

Head Teacher

A farewell message from Jake (Sycamore Class Teacher) who is leaving us this academic year:

"I leave Nancealverne with memories that will last a lifetime and the children and staff have inspired me every day. I am sure that all the children will thrive in their next steps at the school, and I will miss being part of their journey. I look forward to hearing about their continued success from afar and I will always be a friend of Nancealverne school. I would also like to wish all the family's good luck for the future and I hope you have a wonderful summer. "

"It's been a pleasure working at Nancealverne school and I will miss you all!

You never know! I may be back!"

Activities week was a great success with all the students taking part in different things to do finishing with a whole school trip to the cinema.

Thank you to everyone who made this week possible with special thanks to our students who, once again, did us proud representing our school out in the community.
