ISSUE 002

Dear Parents and Carers,

As the academic year is now in full swing, we want to remind you of the importance of regular school attendance. Consistent attendance is a critical factor in your child's education.

Our school day begins at 9.10am. Unfortunately, we do not have staff available in the classroom before this time, so please wait to bring them to the door until the school day starts.

We understand that there may be circumstances where your child cannot attend school due to illness or a family emergency. In these cases, please notify the school as soon as possible. If you know your child is going to need to be absent during school time, please speak to one of the office teams to get an absence request form and return it, so we can look at your request. Please note this is only for exceptional circumstances. Thank you again for your support with this.

I hope you enjoy this edition of our newsletter and, as usual, if you need any more information or support please drop myself or Steph an email on: lladd@nancealverne.org.uk/sholmes@nancealverne.org.uk

Best wishes,

Lauren Ladd (Inclusion Lead)

Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

We are looking to put together a PTA group in Nancealverne, and we are looking for recruits!

The time commitment will be a termly meeting hosted by us at school and members will have the opportunity to further support school through fundraising events and other activities.

If you are interested in taking part or would like some more information, please drop me an email on: lladd@nancealverne.org.uk.

I look forward to hearing from you!
