ISSUE 006

Dear all our parents, carers, and friends of Nancealverne,

What a fabulous day we have had! It has been ‘Spooktacular’. All the costumes and Halloween activities have been so much fun. We have also had Headteacher assemblies today, where we celebrated all the successes of the half term.  It is always fantastic to see our school community together. All the team feel a great sense of pride in the achievements of the pupils, and it makes our jobs so rewarding.

As we finish this half term we say ‘thank you’ and ‘good luck’ to Lena and Kez who start their maternity leave periods. We wish them all the very best for the adventures ahead.

We would also like to say thank you to you all. Our partnership with parents in very important and we appreciate your visits to school, communications, and support. If we can help in any way, please get in touch.

Wishing you all a safe and happy half term break, we look forward to seeing you on Monday 30th October.

With best wishes,

Pippa

(Deputy Headteacher)

Upper Evergreens held their fundraising event at Softplay Penzance on the 17th and had a fantastic time! We had lots of children come to play and they raised £45!

We will be running another one in the new year so keep an eye out for more information.

We have been notified by Clever Chefs that some of the dates on the menus are incorrect, so we have been sent amended versions.

When we return to school on the 30th of October we will be on week 2.

After consulting with some parents from the school, we decided to hold another school photo session with Jo Buckley on the 21st November 2023. These photos will take place during the school day and the proofs will be with you soon after to choose from.

Elm class took a trip to Newquay Zoo this week and had an amazing time seeing all the animals - even on a very windy day!

We have been lucky enough to get a blue token slot to help us get our reading bell tent at our amazing school.

We are creeping up with our coins but with Christmas coming up please remember to put the tokens in our section! We really appreciate all of your support.

We are in the Penzance store at Eastern green as well as the smaller store in Market Jew Street. Please vote for us!
