Dear Parents and Carers,
We've had another busy week at Nancealverne with Science week and parents evening. We'd like to extend our thanks to all of you who came to school to hear about your child's progress - it's always lovely to see families and teachers coming together.
I'd like to take this opportunity to remind you of the importance of school attendance this academic year. We appreciate that sometimes circumstances mean your child will need to be off school, but we believe that consistent attendance where possible plays a pivotal role in a student's academic success and personal growth. Regular attendance ensures that students have every opportunity to engage with the curriculum, build strong relationships with their peers and teachers, and develop essential life skills.
Please ring the school office as early as possible if they are going to be absent, so we can ensure class teams and transport providers are aware.
As usual, please reach out to our home school liaison team if you need any additional support or just want a chat over a cuppa - we are always here to help.
Best wishes,
Lauren Ladd (Inclusion Lead)
