My name is Sylvia Hargreaves, I am the special school nurse here at Nancealverne School.  I have been qualified as a Paediatric Nurse since 1994.  Before moving to Cornwall I lived in Lincolnshire and worked as a specialist nurse trainer for children with disabilities.

Before starting at the school I worked at Little Harbour Children's Hospice.  I am based at school Monday -  Friday from 08.15 - 16.15.  My role is to support school staff with training in meeting the medical needs of the children.  I also help facilitate the Community Paediatrician clinics as well as the Dietician and Epilepsy nurse specialist.
