We love reading!
Books are everywhere in our school. Ask all the teachers who are their favourite authors- you might be surprised by the answers.
- Our whole Primary curriculum is driven by fantastic books linked to inspiring topics.
- We have phonics and reading sessions timetabled most days.
- We have beautiful book corners, reading nooks and we now have a new calming reading room for all to use.
- We have links to the local library and visits from local writers and artists throughout the year.
- We have termly reading news letters to support reading at home.
- The teachers even have a new weekly ‘Book Club’ to explore and share the latest and greatest children’s literature across the school.
